What We Do
If you sustain a loss, your insurance policy will specify that you must undertake certain actions in order to protect the property from further damage. These actions include making temporary, non-permanent repairs (e.g. placing a tarp over blown roof shingles, boarding up broken windows after a fire, etc.). You are also required to separate damaged items and undamaged items. Additionally, you will be required to maintain accurate records of any contents (personal belongings) that are damaged (age, current replacement value, etc.). These are just a few of the provisions in the typical property insurance policy.
An Allegiance Public Adjuster will review your policy and assist you with the burdens that the policy of insurance requires of you after any loss. Therefore, your first action should be to contact our office for assistance. We’ll make sure that your duties after any loss are met so that you will receive the maximum compensation.
